Age range to move into adult enclosure?

Can I get some feedback on a rough age range to move a growing panther into a 24"x24"x48" enclosure? Mine's about 5-6 months old now and he's getting pretty decent size. He seems like he's getting restless in his smaller one? The branches that I have in the big one are about 1/2"-1" in diameter based on other enclosures I've seen. There are also medium bend-A-branches to traverse, which are probably a 1/4". I was thinking of giving him another month or so, as I'm moving and want to give home some time to get settled in in a familiar environment. Also, I still need to build the drainage system for his stand.

I think size and how he eats is the most important factors as to when it's time to move up to the big boy cage. Do you cup feed or hand feed him? If he's use to cup and hand feeding he shouldn't have a problem. Sometimes a small chameleon will have a hard time finding and catching food. Also keep in mind that sometimes it takes them awhile to adjust to a new enclosure. Some chameleons do not like change.

He's cup fed readily, and voraciously since the first day I got him. He's probably about the adult size of Jackson by now. Think I'll give him a month after the move before I put him in there? I've just noticed a change in his behavior lately, like climbing on the screen a lot and walking around the cage floor, which he didn't do before. I'm sure he'll be fine and comfortable until he gets settled in and I get his new setup ready?

My cham is in a extra large dragon stand cage and he does that. I'd say move him whenever you want. He'll probably love more territory to explore.

My cham really didn't appreciate the move. He was frozen in 1 spot for 2 days. They'll definitely adjust and be fine in the long run.
