Age of my veiled chameleon

Purchased this little guy today 3-31-19, I have no idea what age he is so I know how much to feed him, thank you.

Are you sure he is a he and not a she? Males have spurs on their back feet. Females do not. I can tell from the coloring that I believe you have a female.

he is a he, i believe it is a male because of the barring starting to show so he is around 6 months. also i wouldnt advise cupping your hands over him like that because chams get stressed in confined spaces.

yes he has spurs on his back feet and at the end of his body under his tail there is a slight bump instead of it being flat, the bump means he is a male also

Great cause I can not see it from the picture that u posted, if there is a spur then for sure its a male.
Did u get any info(age) on him from the place u got it from??

I would place him at 5months then. No older. Maybe slightly younger. My Veiled male started showing his adult colors all the time around 4months old. This is obviously a guess. Weighing your Cham would be a better indicator.
