Age in question? ASAP

He looks pretty young can't say age but I do know that waterfall has more cons than pros. They'll want to go to the bathroom in it and it will get bacteria quickly.
 
i know i am waiting to get a plant in there to change it so we can use a misting sytem. getting the plant this weekend, and i check and clean it daily.
 
waterfalls arnt really good to have unless you want to clean it 4ever. im shure everyone on this forum will say the same thing. your cham is very cute. iv got my first aswell. a little female about the same size as yours. id say 3-5mnths. thats whats they siad about clair. are you 100% shure its a boy. does he have spurs? im putting a pic of clair for size compair. shes showing stressed colors in one.
 
he has spurs, its hard to see in the vid. and yes i know i explain the waterfall isn't staying long, it is just there until i can just a plant under in there. i misted teice a day and clean the water fall daily. but how much should i be feeding him i have small crickets. they are the distanct of his eyes.
 
from what i know you dont really have to worry about over feeding boys as much. if he is that young let him eat untill he's full 15-20 crikets? depends how big they are. bigger crikets less of them. you dont want them to be to bug. are you supplamenting? you need cal with d3, cal WITHOUT d3 and multivitamins.

Feed him as much as he wants to eat (about 15 crickets a day ).. he looks to be only 3 months.

Dust with calcium WITHOUT d3 at every feeding...Dust with calcuim WITH D3 every two weeks....

Gutload your crickets with fresh fruit and veggies

Keep your UV buld up to date (reptisun 5.0 linear bulb recommended). Bulbs loose their ability to produce UV over time so they must be replaced once a year... even if they still give off light they need to be replaced.

Follow what I said and he will not get MBD which is too little calcium in his bones causing them to be soft and bend and bow.
 
his crickets are gut loaded crickets

6 days are calcuim (phosphorus free)
1 day is multi vitamins

i give him melons and peach carrots and other veggs and fruits in a bolw about a teaspoon a day i change the bolw so its fresh daily.

he gets some meal worms every so often.

no :/. you need everyday with cal NO D3. that is really importent. twice a mnth with d3 and once a mnth multies. you can over suplament your cham. thats just as dangerous and under or not supping at all.---- did you mis type and edit or did i read you wrong? earyler i though it said 6 days with d3. im sorry if i misread you. but still follow the above :)

oh i did but i am going to the store to get the stuff at 10:00 when stores open to get him the right stuff. you guys are more helpful than the pet store. and trust me. Leonard is not getting any more d3 this month!!!!!! he is past his limit.
 
well he needs a mixed diet. crikets can be a staple. and you mean when he gets older and eats "less?" i belive that you feed him as much as he'd want unless he gets fat. than offer every other day. he would need bigger crikets and could tham eat adult super worms. post a diff thread for that.

i know what you mean. petsmart s****d me over. :/ but ill tell you what. all the money iv spent on her is worth it. id rather be really safe than crying my eyes out digging hole and putting up a little marker.
 
Leonard will not have any more d3 for this month!!!!! thank you for telling me that. stupid pet stores. i love him and would never want to hurt him.

you all are so help ful what about multi vitamins once a month as well?
 
i know what you mean. without this clair would have lived a much less healthy life because i wuddnt have known any better :/ the thought of that makes me so sad. but good for you for doing research and careing about your pet. its like haveing a baby! congratz XD! heres what i do. mabey it will help- on the 10th clair gets only multivitamin and cal with d3. everyday untill the 20th she gets just cal no d3. than on the 20th she gets cal with d3. this repeats every mnth. :) i kept it easy. use whatever days you want it doesnt matter as long as he get them consentanly on certain days. i use repcal on everything.
 
this sounds lame but since i am 21 and i live with my boyfriend he does some stuff but i do most of the care, i decided to keep a notebook and write everything that goise in and out of his cage. so what and when he gets feed, when its cleaned what powder is used. what times, the amounts of food everything. my boyfriend calls it my LOL book Log Of Leonard.

haha. im 17. my boyfriend and i have been together 2years(non stop, not a kid relationship) and we do everything for clair. when he calls me good night he tells me to tell his little girl goodnight. boyfriend(girlfriends..ect; pick ur posion XD) are so cute when they love what you love ^^!
 
ours has been two years i wanted commited, so we deciced pet, our landlord and us could only agree on chameleons. and ya chameleons are a lot of work. like a baby. well i worry for mine like a child.
 
awh :D that makes me happy! haha. i love when people truley care about things they buy (pets) its a liveing "loveing" animal!
