after you buy a tree

What do u do after? What am i suppose to take out and clean?

Well,how big is the tree?

Its a little ficus, no bigger than 12"

You can turn upside in a bucket of soapy water soak for about 10 minutes. Then rinse real well and repot in some organic soil or soil that does not contain any fertilizer. Then cover the top of the soil with some large river rocks. LArge enough so your chamleon cannot eat them.

I use supersoil and a disinfectant called Chlorhexidine. It is what I have always used fro my plants.

What if you have a 4ft schefflera? Should I just take a hose and soapy sponge? Wondered this AFTER I bought it!
It was only 13.00 at Lowes, thought Krash might like it added to his free range area

i think i bough organic soil that contain fertilizer, is it still bad?

if it has fertilizer and is organic, then it would be a natural fertlizier I would think? Just cover up the soil well with the river rocks so your chameleon cannot eat it.

Put soapy water in a spray bottle and sprayed the whole tree down then rinsed it real good.
