This is your fourth thread about mating the same chameleon...it would make it a lot easier for us to follow what's going on with it if you kept it all in one thread.

Sorry its just a little confusing thats all....so what do you think i should do.................................i just took the male down to her cage snd she went this colour gravid.jpg so im say this means she pregnant and has had enough and is gravid

She's gravid. If you tried to put them together now she would attack/frpel the male likely....so just get ready for eggs. She could lay them earlier than the normal 30 days so she should have a place in the cage to dig to show you she needs to lay them.

When she's digging, don't let her see you watching her or she will abandon the hole. If it happens often enough, she can become eggbound and die.

a few questions. have you ever seen a chameleon shoot for food and not only get the food but also whatever was next to the food like another feeder? what do you think will happen if a feeder is on the ground and he shoots the feeder and gets some of the bark you have for substrate?

you have some time to prepare and read up for the eggs. if that is the laying bin in the background. you need approx 12-14inches of sand. very important to also give plain calcium every feeding.

^consider the above statement of the bark
