Advice with hatchlings!

Hey guys,

My Pygmy chameleons began hatching yesterday, with one having no problems at all. The second had the back half of his body seemingly stuck in the egg for over 24 hours, so I made the decision to help him out, which I think was the right thing to do. He is now happily wandering around his new home. However, the third egg has just a snout protruding and has been like this for about 24 hours too. There is movement inside, but I am worried the egg is too tough for him to break free. Should I intervene? Let me know your thoughts,

Cheers,

Chris

After 24 hours I would say yes for the little pyglets. I have helped quite a few out (only after they have a body part emerge) with no issues. Just be very careful. WIth the snout guy I would just open the egg up a little more around his snout-don't pull him out-just let him come out on his own in case he is still absorbing yolk sac.
