So i'm looking to buy this vivarium for a 6month old male panther chameleon. It looks like quite a nice setup, but I assume I will have to upgrade to something bigger eventually.

What do you guys think about this?

It looks nice but I would go for something taller. Your cham will get big fast.

I'd like an extra large jungle hobbies aluminium screen cage ideally, however, Im from England, and for some reason there seems to be a huge lack of screen cages on the market. Reptibreeze are the only commercial UK based screen cages I can find...and they don't look so great to me. This vivarium in the above image is extremely cheap, and will come with everything you see including uvb/ceramic heat lamp/pothos/vines etc

I'm worried about the poor circulation you will get in that. Also, I'm not sure how water will drain from that cage. I would try to build one myself as that doesn't look good for panthers...Also it seems the lights are inside and would be very close to the cham and he might get burned. Doesn't look to be a UVB bulb either.

Yep, I would agree. You may end up making a lot of modifications to this cage (airflow, sealing from moisture, controlling drainage, shielding or adjusting the light distances...only to replace it when the cham outgrows it. I'd put more effort into his adult cage and do something simple for the temporary juvie cage.

Thanks for the responses. I've splashed out a bit, and gone for a 47"x24"x24" Aluminium Screen Cage. See attached image.

also decided to by two larger potted plants that will give surface area in his adult cage. 120cm Devils Ivy/Pothos, and a 100cm Ficus Benjamina.

Pretty excited!

I would agree with this cage. Personally, I think your chameleon will like it better.
