I have a reptibreeze 16x16x30 cage
It's in a secluded area. My back house. Room stays between 69 and 73 degrees at all times.
Lighting: I use an 18in reptiglo 5.0uvb bulb. With a 75 watt basking bulb. It's 8 inches from the basking bulb to his usual basking perch.
Foliage: I have a devils ivy growing up a totem from the bottom and a standard pothos growing down from the top. I also have a small umbrella tree in the cage with two fake vines that twist all around the cage. I also have two fake vine plans in there to.
I use a dripper for water. I turn it on twice a day for 10-20 minutes roughly each time. I also mist throughly a minimum of two times a day.
My question is that from what I have learned dark colors are a sign of stress. He tends to have a dark stripe down his spine when basking. And usually shows shows some dark colors in pattern most of The day. At night he is like green. I'm just wanting to make sure The little guy is happy. He's about a 7 month old Jackson and I've had him two weeks.
Any advice or comments are very welcome! Post pics of your setups and every your cham!
Ps. In the picture it shows a fountain. I took it out the day I put it in since everyone said they are bacteria breeding grounds. I've also added a few more things to it to.
