Advice for vet trip?

I am bringing in my panther on Sunday to the vet because he has stopped eating and pooping, along with some other strange behaviors ): Now I just need to figure out how to bring him there? He is about 10 months old. What type of enclosure/cage/box should I bring him in? Does anybody have any recommendations or advice?
Thanks :)

Shoe box or covered container like a bucket. He will feel safer with a branch or something secure he can grip during transit. Keeping him covered will keep his stress levels down.

I used a bird carrier when i brought Skittles to the vet, it was dark inside but also had a mesh ventilation window so it was perfect.

I use a very small plastic tote with holes in it and then I put that inside a dark cloth bag with a dark towel over hte top. Keep him in the dark and they just shut right down as if they are going to sleep. Don't take him out to show anyone in the waiting room. I won't even take mine out for the vet tech, waiting until AFTER I have discussed everything with the vet, then I bring out the chameleon for a quick check up and then back in the box they go.
