Took a few pictures today I thought I'd share. The first two are not very good pictures of a very beautiful male nominate subspecies Jackson's chameleon. I adopted and received him this morning from Elisa and ChamEo. You do wonderful things, Elisa! As for the boy, I'm still trying to decide on a name. For some reason I feel like calling him Jesse. But might consider Tito. Not sure. Anyway, I was planning on keeping him in an 36x18x 18 cage outside but have decided to rethink that as it seems a little too small. In the meantime he's being spoiled in a 6+ foot tall cage so that he can effectively thermoregulate. He can't seem to get far enough away from me and my scary camera but I managed to get a couple blurry "see food" shots after he took a couple crickets from me. Ain't he purty?
Later tonight I walked past Popeye and noticed how very blue he was and took some pictures of him. As usual, none of them show the blue. At least not on my monitor. Anyway, it's been a while so here's Popeye's not so best side:
Finally, I took a series of photos of these two females on a stick. I went through all of them and cropped and resized the clearest of the bunch. Looking at them in this order now, I can't help but feel they're a little naughty for some reason.
