Acuminatus Eggs

I am new to Pygmys and I have a Pair of Acuminatus, and the female recently laid a few eggs and now I have the eggs in a deli container in a closet in my basement. I was wondering how long it takes before you can tell if the eggs are fertile? How quickley will the shrivel up if they are not fertile?

I have not bred Acuminatus but generally with panther eggs they go bad within the first few weeks if they are not fertile. If they stay white and begin to grow a bit they are most likely fertile. Good Luck.

Oldschool is right about the eggs. What temps are you incubating them at? Being montane pygmies I would think between 65 and 70 degrees would be good temps to incubate them at but I have not read much information on them or kept them Here is a thread of some people who have experience with the species and have bred them.
