Active, but eyes are closed

yeah, my vet just kinda grabbed my chameleon and looked into his eyes with a light, just like looking into a human's nose, but yeah please either PM me or post the name of the meds you were given.

ya i will for sure, i am just lucky to have a good vet they do cats and dogs but they have vets that only deal with reptiles. i go to canton animal hospital in canton MI i dont know where you live but if your in the mitten check it out.

Just a quick update for everyone, Blizzard is doing much better, the vet and I determined that he wasn't getting enough vitamin A.

I have to assume that the little drop's i was adding somehow weren't finding their way into his mouth.

I'm now using a powder with preformed vit a once a month, used it twice for two weeks per the vet.

I'm noticing much improvement already, his skin looks better and his eyes are open all the time now.

:D

Sorry to bring this old thread up but I'm having the exact same problems with a baby veiled.

When you say you used the Vit A twice for 2 weeks does this mean once every two weeks or twice a week for 2 weeks?

Thanks.
