absess on Panther Chameleon's tongue

can anyone identify this abscess (2) on my Chameleons tongue?
also there is some extra skin growth on this upper lip (1)

Eeegadd! Has he eaten anything with a stiger, or that could have bit him? How long has it been like that? You should take him to the vet asap.

we mainly feed him crickets...occasionally silk worms..

Take that poor guy to the vet ASAP! But let me know what the vet says, I'd love to know what caused it!
