about to shed or?

Hi everyone, my veiled chameleon Demetrius has some gray around his casque and on his head and i was wondering if it is just him about to shed or a burn something else? His basking spot is about 10 inches away from his lamp

Looks normal to me, is he due for a shed?

I would say so yeah. He shed his body not too long ago.

Ok so that could be it, but I wouldn’t worry. IMO it doesn’t look like a burn or anything to be worried about.
