ablino super worm???!?!?

today i was gonna feed my cham as always, and i look into the bin of superworms, and one of them was completely white/ pale peach color!

can somebody shed some light on was this might be??

It's growing and it shed :D
Oh and my chameleons love freshly molted superworms!

oh ok! thanks!:D

what do superworms transform into?
i know that hornworms turn into months.
silkworms turn into months as well,
mealworms turn into darkling beetles,
since supers and mealworms are alike, do superworms turn into some sort of beetle as well?

beetles. Never had one turn into that but someone said if you seperate one from the rest they will turn. Don't know if that is true or not.

I don't know about separation, I think it's lack of food that triggers it IMO. They only turned into beetles for me when they were loose in the cage with nothing to eat. After just a few days they pupated and not long after that: beetles! I could be wrong about the trigger though.

Its about the size of the larvae (the worm). If it reaches a proper size it will pupate. If you want to breed them, and want to speed it up, you can separate the worms into deli cups and place them in a dark place. If the mature enough to pupate, they will. And the yes, they transforms into bugs. (Zophobas morio in lat. if im correct).

I too think it's to do with starving them, it's only happened for me when i found some beetles in my cage, they would of had no food for god knows how long. I've tried putting some super worms on there own with food but they have never turned into beetles.
