a sign of underdeveloped eyes?

i have a hatchling about two weeks old and its eyes are shut while he is moving around. i had thought i had seen him open one of his eyes earlier but i may have been wrong. underneath his creases of his eyelids is a black dot that, to me, looks like these could be his pupils being seen through his bottom eyelids. he looks like a runt of the litter, and seems ok for now. has anyone seen this before?

Is this the same one you took out and misted in a bowl and opened his eyes as you mentioned in your other thread?

yes but i may have been seeing that black dot underneath his eyelids instead because hes walking around in the bottom of the cage and still not opening his eyes
