A possible new caging idea?

I'm new to the cham world, but not to herps. :) I am also very handy and prefer to build my own enclosures whenever possible.

To this end, I have been thinking up various ways to build a good veiled enclosure and believe I have a good idea: Modular Wire Cubes.
Those great 14" square wire panels you snap together to make crates, shelves, and guinea pig cages would, I believe, make a great cham cage frame! Just 'build' the cage and use zip ties to attach the screen (I plan on using good window screen for mine). :)

So what do all you experts think? Could this work well for a juvi veiled enclosure? Or should I stick with a wood frame and window screen?

Hi,

If you don't want to go with a traditional cage such as these

you might be able to get away with one of these for a little while before upgrading to an adult size/strenth enclosure

an adult veild will need a larger size and more sturdy enclosure. It is easy to make one out of wood.
