He came from FLChams - captive born - I'm really happy with him - He (maybe she) has been very active but shy - well, not shy more like a terrier who thinks its a rotty - lots of personality - and he fits perfect in my smaller cage for now- (he likes a lot of cover- and tends to eat the plants- and everything else I've given him)

They say 10 to 12 inches total - but the one I had 40 years ago never got bigger than 8-and I had him for 3 years. He may not have been a flapneck and I'm pretty sure they have to be including tail - The coloration is very similar but it was a long time ago ..

I remember talking with you about that chameleon you had as a kid and I thought it was a Trioceros affinis or maybe a Chamaeleo gracilis.

The dilepis I kept were about 10 inches in length but some subspecies can get bigger. I don’t want to hijack the other thread but you don’t have to worry about eggs for a while yet. In fact the dilepis I kept never laid eggs but don’t take that as a truism with the species in captivity. That’s just my experience.

Clifford's personality I think that reminds me more of my original than her looks- she always seems like she's on a mission- she doesn't seem to be afraid of me as much as she seems to be making fun of the fact that she can hide in the front of the cage and I can't see her -
