This may be a long shot, but I have to ask: Does this animal eat an unusual amount of vegetable matter? I hatched one veiled that ate greens almost like a beardie! I had to limit the size of salads, b/c he would get too full on veggies then only lazily hunt. If given the choice between bugs or greens, he'd take bugs like any cham, but I was in the habit of offering greens first thing after lights to get them to eat some. His droppings would be dark green, with only a white "tail" when he'd feast on vegetable matter. He's still in a buddy's collection, and last I heard would still just munch down on chopped greens when provided, and he has to rotate the plants for all the bites he takes out of leaves. He outgrew his siblings to a point I had to move him out at 8 weeks or so for fear of cannibalism. That was likely genetic rather than dietary if I had to guess, though, there seem to be a couple of those in every clutch.
