I want a monitor sooo bad! I've been looking at kingsnakeclassified every day. Thats awesome you got one. Looks like your trying to tame him a little bit with the hand walking.

Yeah, get one, bath time is the easiest time to start taming training. The need to settle in for a while first and get used to you for a week at least, then they shouldn't panic in the bath. You can handle them easier because they are busy swimming and they get good and tired.

Then maybe just a bathing suite, snorkel and a cocktail!
lol..............he's underage for the cocktail but I'll see what I can bodge together for the suit, I'm thinking sellotape and drinking straw?

Ah, that makes sense. I don't know much about monitors, but they need a big tank and eat bugs when they are little. Do you know how much they eat when they are babies vs. adults.

Yeah, Savannahs are about the littlest you can easily buy and the can get to 5 feet long, so floor space is good. Don't need the height a Cham does though. As babies they are voracious as chams are, growing almost as quickly.
Growth slows as they age, and they become more Carnivorous instead of just insects.........
