They are so much fun can't wait tell they are bit bigger I only take them out to feed them I am sure they are finding there food but I am bit paranoid that they are not lol so this way I know they are eating

I did the same for my first year, but it could be a pain for new owners that didn't have time to hand feed them. Last years babies have been left to feed themselves.
