8 month female chameleon hasn’t laid eggs yet

Hi guys. So my chameleon entered her first receptive period back in December and she hasn’t laid any eggs :/// she has a laying bin in her enclosure filled with moist play sand that is 11x14x9 inches. It has been in there since she first started showing her big girl colors but she hasn’t seemed at all interested in digging it or digging in any of the potted plants. She was very active for a couple weeks — roaming around her enclosure, screen climbing, asking to come out, etc — but that has since stopped and she is acting normally. During her receptive period I lowered her basking temp to around 76 and decreased the amount of feeders I gave her. I read that can help reduce clutch sizes. Is it possible she didn’t make any eggs this time around? She doesn’t look fatter than normal and I haven’t seen any bumps or lumps where eggs should be.
