5-6 Month Old Veiled

Well I got this guy when he was approx 1-1/2 months old, he was pretty sick for almost a month and I was resigned to the fact he wasn't going to make it, I got to the point of force feeding for a few days. BUT with the help of this board, some Vit A and TLC he has been doing pretty well since then.
Baby pics when he was having issues. Not looking happy at all in these pics:

As of today about 3 months later. (Sorry about the quality, using a new HD camcorder which takes poor quality stills. He's much more turquoise in person.)

So I guess the lesson learned is never give up on them.:)

Thanks for the replies!

I've been feeding mainly big black crickets (maybe field crickets?) and superworms along with whatever safe to eat bugs I find in the grass around my house. When he was smaller he got alot of field caught insects, mostly grasshoppers and flying bugs. The crickets are gutloaded with a mix my local pet store makes and I use mainly apples for moisture. Superworms are kept in ground up mini wheats cereal and an apple core is thrown in a couple times a week usually. Supplements are: calcium about twice a week give or take and vitamin powder twice a month. UVB 5.0 during the day and natural sunlight is provided as long as it's not too hot outside. He's been chilling outside for about a week now since it's cooled off a bit.

He hates everybody so I figure that's a sign of a healthy veiled, lol. When he starts being nice that's when I'll worry.
