5.0 or 10.0 UVB

I have had my baby veiled in a smaller screen cage with a CFL 5.0 UVB Bulb.

Tomorrow, I am upgrading him to a 2'x2'x4' screen cage, and plan to get a Tube UVB Light, for the bigger cage.

Is it better to get a 10.0 UVB or a 5.0 UVB?

Is there any reason not to get the Stronger 10.0 UVB Bulb?

5 Months... and growing fast!

He is cup feeding, so I dont think it will be any problem for him to find food in the larger cage...

The larger cage and either light should he fine for him. He will enjoy all the space.

Male 5.0 / female 10.0, especially if breeding. If you use the 10.0 make sure to lower her top branch maybe 2" lower than with a 5.0 and lots of foliage hiding places. Stagger different branch heights for optimum UVB absorption. I have learned to like the 10.0 for female panthers and veils. They must be used properly though.
