4month old veiled cham eye

So I have had my male veiled chameleon for 2weeks now he is doing good he just started shedding he is in a 18by18by36 screen cage. The average temp is 78 basking is in mid 90s he has a lot of sticks and such he has one large pothos plant in there he eats small gut loaded cricks with d3 he gets misted 3times a day and I have the little dripper he eats well and all I have notice one problem though he at times has one of his eyes closed I dont know why and should I be concerned??

It could be something in his eye like shed. That is one possibility. It is not normal for them to close one or both eyes, so yes there is something going on. Also, do not use d3 every time you dust. You can cause health problems if you give too much d3. Use calcium with no d3.

What do you mean? You let them shed by themselves. You can mist him with warm water to help aid in the shedding process. Also, please take note what I told you about the d3.

Hi there,
My cham doesn't like the dirty enclosure so I have to clean it at the end of the day. But it is always better if you clean it right a way, otherwise it can start to rot and cause problems...
I've heard some cham eats the skin, but mine doesn't.
Supplementing: Calcium WITHOUT D3 every feeding and multivitamin+ Calcium WITH D3 every two weeks.
It is very important, I still have tongue issues possibly from the wrong supplementing....
