48'' Reptisun 5.0 40 watt and plant and aquarium 40 watt

Is a 48'' Reptisun 5.0 40 watt and plant and aquarium 40 watt a bad idea? i read someone else on here used that, that's what i'm going to do for uvb and extra light unless you guys tell me differently. is a 75 watt basking bulb in a 8 1/2'' clamp lamp going to provide to much heat for my veiled, i have a hundred and i dont want to raise it up anymore-it looks ugly, what wattage should i get? room temp in summer is 69-77.

We cannot tell you whether something will be too hot or not because we cannot stick a thermometer at the closest point your cham can get to the basking light.

So what should you do? Measure the temp and make sure your cham isn't exposed to 100+ degree temps without frequent mistings.

Don't do aquariums, do an all screen cage. As for the 48" Reptisun...do it.
