3mo Baby Panther Chameleon Sleeping All Day

Hi there! New to the group and so exited to be a chameleon mother but HELP!

Background
I've had Tunes (aka Petunia) for 3 days now. She was born in February according to the reptarium I purchased her from. I've been putting baby crickets in her aluminum screen cage (smallest size recommended) and have her water spout dripping off a leaf. She has an 80W Powersun light. Plenty of horizontal foliage and branches to climb on. I mist her just about every 30 minutes to an hour during the day and turn off the heater at night. Minimal handling except for when rearranging the cage.

Issue :(
I haven't seen her eat (ever) and haven't seen her drink since day 1. She 'sleeps' all day (her eyes are closed) and doesn't move from the same position. When I go to sleep, she is in the exact same position when I wake up. I know she's not dead because I can see tinnny breaths when I mist her but I'm worried I'm losing her! She looks thin and I'm not seeing any excrement either (not white). See attached photo.

Help tiny Tunes!

Your heading says that your chameleon is sleeping all day. That is not normal. Can you please provide more information.

Welcome to the forum and the world of chameleons.

@MissSkittles is right....the chameleon should be awake all day.

Accidentally posted before writing:

So the biggest issue that I see is the powersun bulb... These produce really high UVB levels and heat. They should not be used without a solarmeter 6.5. They are never used on cages only on free range set ups and very very large enclosures.

You want a T5HO fixture with a 5.0 linear uvb bulb and this should be placed 9 inches away from the highest basking branch.

How was she before you got her? Like at the store?

The powers in is a concern to me too, what's the temperatue in the basking area?

Does she ever breath/sit with her mouth open!
