Hi everyone here are a couple pics of my baby he is from kammerflage and turned 3 months on the 11-12. I just want to make sure he looks good. I think he's a little skinny? He always has food both free and in a feeder.from sunset chameleons

He is going to be a beauty. How much are you feeding per day? Babies this young can easily take down 24 small feeders a day. I wouldn't free feed him. Train him to the feeder run. Free feeding poses risks as crickets will bite babies at night when they sleep. Also if you ever deal with a parasite issue you do not want them eating from the cage only a designated spot that they can not drop fecal into.

He gets roughly 15 crickets a day. I'll start putting them more into the feeder. does he look skinny?

I would not limit him at this age for how many... Start feeding at least 2 dozen. If you are not ordering in your insects you might want to as feeding chams the first 9 months is expensive lol. To me yes, he looks a bit thin.

Ok I thought so too. that's usually 2 times a day I forgot to mention. But I will give him more. He also gets a bunch of flightless fruit flies. I do order the feeders from dubia and premium crickets.

Put them all in the feeder run in the morning so if you normally do 30 then add all then. this gives baby all day to digest. I would not bother with fruit flies at this point he is not a hatchling anymore. What size insects are you feeding right now? 1/4 inch?

Yes they are 1/4" always dusted 2 times a month with d3 and vitamins

Yep so this is spot on. And your using phosphorus free calcium without D3 at all other feedings correct?

When my babies were smaller like your guy they were eating roughly 36 a day.

And note yes he looks a bit thin but he looks very healthy. Baby may just hitting a growth spurt so he is using up what he is getting more rapidly.

100% I use repashy 0 D at every feeding and then repashy with d3 2 times a month

The page says Pineapple Express is an Ambilobe Furcifer pardalis. Pineapple Express looks to be a BBYB Ambilobe Furcifer pardalis.

Thank you! Im just not familiar enough with all the terms. I actually did know that he was an ambilobe but I thought would be his breed like a dog 😆

Should I start adding some small dubias daily or wait till hes bigger? My other one that is a couple months older doesn't like the dubias but will begrudgingly eat a couple a day for variety crickets are the favorites. Then any worm and then the ultimate are moths!

Actually Furcifer pardalis locals are though to be their own species now days by Herpetology Scholars. The science is still in the works about the issue though. Meaning the association between dog breeds and Furcifer pardalis locals in not that far off the mark.
