Hi, I have a two year old panther chameleon, could someone tell me a stable diet for him. I have fed him on locus, crickets, mealworms, but I've read a thread on here saying no for mealworms as they cause impaction. So really I'm looking for a nice stable diet which is good for him, many thanks

At two years old I'd recommend feeding every 2 to 3 days. Mealworms are ok every now and then but not as a regular staple. Locus and crickets are good and different kinds of roaches. Dubia are widely used here in the US. Can you get silkworms there? They are excellent feeders. You could also try some superworms and hornworms. Most of my guys love worms.

Yes we can get silkworms here, I've been told to crush the silk worms head before feeding because they can bite the chameleon, is this right.
