The origional Transformers cartoon was lame, and didnt make any sense hahaha sorry.

The only cartoon I like from back in the day is Digimon. I know it was only like 10 years ago, but thats back in the day for me. Jetsons was good aswell.



Asfar as anime gose- avatar is pretty awsome for current cartoons.

No. I am looking for a good series though. I just finished Monster not to long ago. That was interesting. Im not sure about the last airbender stuff
It you say its really really good Ill check it out though. I like the more political storylines though. I wish I could find something more like GITS and Patlabor that I havent seen already

Last airbender is pretty good. It is detailed and can get serious. Towards the end, in the "book of fire" chapter, it starts to really suck and appears asif they are stalling, but it picks up and proves its self worthy towards the end of that chapter.

I'm looking forward to the next series.

the quality of the animation and the concepts for the redone angels are just awesome. its essentially the same show, just much better. same characters voice actors ect. just new and fresh.

im going to stab you repeatedly for thos words against yu yu hakusho have you even ever seen the dark tournament and chapter black?

Hmmm, not sure if I would like it, Id have to see the whole thing. I dont think theres anything wrong with the originals. ;/ I have been wanting to see these though.
oh and i actually purchased samurai 7 i hate the integration of the cgi with the animation, i dodnt even think i watched the first episode through. same reason i should like heat guy J more, the integration of the cgi feels awkward, its not seamless like in that evangelion clip

Samurai 7 gets even worse visually. They change the art style part way through ;/ The storyline is good though, not great, but worth watching.
If you havnt seen the original 1954 film (Seven Samurai) you really should.

Have you watched Akira? That was the first anime I watched ever.
Ive never seen better animation, at least nothing as visually stunning.

No Tobey Maguire will be producing Robotech. From the last I heard the material was purchased from the Japanese company that created Robotech and Tobey was one of the parties who bought the rights. As of what I have seen the live action movie is still up in the air in regards to when and who is going to be in the movie.

There were a couple episodes that did seem to stall (every couple episodes) however they pulled off the effect of story with this series.

I'm glad to hear that they are going to make another trilogy/series of this cartoon.

I have not seen it yet however Star Wars Clone Wars the animated Star Wars episode got good reviews from my brother. Its not anime however there is supposed to be a new Star Wars trilogy in the works. For those of you who are fans of that series.

and akira is great ive only ever seen it once though.

and dude it seems like with a lot of these animes either their funding gets cut dramatically, or they didnt have the funding they needed to begin with and wasted all their money on the first few episodes.

what sucks is when you see a great series or concept for a series go to shit because of lack of money, and then you see terrible series last a billion episodes because for whatever reason they get the funding.

The next series has started. Its called Avatar The Legend of Korra. I have seen a couple episodes and seems decent however definitely is not as comic as The Last Air Bender series. I'm still looking forward to this series though.
