I was just curious to see if anyone knew where i could purchase an inexpensive 24" florescent bulb hood that works well for a reptisun 5.0 uvb bulb. The only pet store in my area is petco and sure enough it costs $55 there. Is this how much they usually are?
Walmart! If you go to the lightbulb section they have undercounter flourescent fixtures for $9.00 for the 24"-just pop off the plastic lens and throw it away, and swap out the bulb with the Reptisun-can't beat it!
