2 year old veiled shed??

Hey there... How long should my 2 year old female cham take to shed?? Shes very grumpy an started on thursday!!?? Its started small an then like an explosion all over her Poor baby..... Im misting her more than normal but she seems sooooo unhappy!!

Adults can take a long time to shed. Some seem to always be shedding some part of their body. My adult male veiled tends to shed this way especially. One week a leg and foot might shed, then the next week his tail, then his face, and so on.

Does yours get so grumpy too?? margie is normally soooo sweet, loves to come down an say hi!! Her whole body is shedding, it started on her belly an now is all over!!

Mine is always grumpy. Shedding can make them grumpy though.

Both my veileds become fairly grumpy when shedding...and it can take a while - my girl just had a partial shed of her body and head and 2 weeks later her legs and tail followed suit. You may also see a drop off in eating habits as well during a shed.

Thanks guys, she seems to have sped up over night an is nearly all done!! Crazy!! shes alot happier today an chillen in sunshine!!!
