Wow, LOVE your female!

Thank you! She is one of my favorites. Her normal color is a orange but she often displays a canary yellow. It is amazing. I am trying to get a picture but she darkens up when I stick the lens in her cage. One of these days I'll figure out how to get her.

Wow! I love your female! My Deremensis female is just green.

I noticed all those black spots on the back of the male, do you know what that is?

My other female is green. I did not know the females had different colors until I received this one.

I have noticed those spots on the male a couple times. I just looked at him this morning and they are not there. The picture is probably 2 weeks old. I also checked my other male. He does have those spots. I am not sure what they are. They look like rub marks from shipping. They all came in a little rough looking. I have had them for about 7 weeks now. I'll get more pictures as they continue to fatten up.

These seem like such an interesting species, I wish I could see them get more popular on the forums.

Thanks. I do really like them. They also seem to do very well in captivity. I have had a total of seven now. I haven't lost one yet. I sold my first trio when I got out of the hobby years ago.

I would like to see any species get popular besides pardalis and calyptratus. Lateralis is coming around.

one of my favorite species, please keep posting pictures of them.
don´t forget to treat them for parasites if they are wild caught

Already had them tested. Believe it or not, they were parasite free. I'm going to bring a couple more samples to my vet just to be safe.

I remember having a house full of baby deremensis not that long ago. Here are some pictures of mine.

Your deremensis look great, I always love the lipstick. Best of luck with them.

Very cool! Why did you quit working with them?

Also is your enclosure just a plant wrapped with plastic? If so that is exactly how I have mine set up. I have tubs with plants in them connected to a drainage system. Then plastic lines the tub and extends to about a foot from the ceiling. The top is completely open and a slit runs down the front. This setup has worked great for me, especially with wild caught. I can work with my chameleons in the same room and not disturb the other chameleons.

I remember when I was about 14 and we were in Tanzania at a game park on vacation and someone brought one in on a stick - For me it was love at first sight - I had a chameleon back where we were living in Ethiopia at the time - but I had never seen one that size. They are lovely.

Thanks all. I am sure after I have had them a little longer they will look even better. I'll post some more pictures when they have list some of their scars.
