2 month old Veiled chameleon not acting right and I trouble.

My son got a chameleon last month and everything seemed fine with him. He started acting weird the last few week. First he was having trouble opening his eyes. The vet gave me Vetroplycin to put one his eyes and it helped. For the last week all he wants to do is sleep. He barely opens his eyes to look around when I get him out. Sometimes there will be a bulge on his eye and he will rub his eyes on my hand. The buldge will be there one minute and gone the next. He got some fluid out of one of his eyes once.

Is this normal behavior?

Please fill out the form posted in the "How to ask for Help" thread that is stickied in the health section. This will help us determine if anything with your husbandry could be the cause and possible solutions. Include recent photos of the cham and its cage if possible as well.

Mine is doing the exact same thing except no fluid from his eye. The vet gave me a liquid for sick reptiles to give him oraly. But he also has a red bulge and rubs his eyes on things he also won't eat. The vet said she wasn't optimistic that he would love but it's been almost a month
