Thanks for your reply. There will be holes in the base to drain into a PVC collection basin. The wood is not treated as I am worried about toxicity. It will have two coats of primer, four coats of paint and four coats of polyurethane. Let me know any ideas you have.

Currently building my own enclosure. Unfortunately it was suppose to be a father son project with my dad who already started before I told him what I was looking todo. Currently I think I may place a collecting pan underneath the entire cage in a cabinet and have it drain into a bucket I can dump out.
