They don't need to mate in order to have eggs.
Surprise clutches can be very dangerous if you don't know what to look for.
 
That is a great size for a female. I will send you a picture later of how I set mine up with a laying bucket.
 
awsome! that would be great.. shes still a baby right now .. just born in june, she doing great! i have her in a smaller tank now but i really reant to move her into a bigger one i can tell shes wanting more space. and thatw ould be great if you can send me some pics. I was just gunna buy a ficus or sumthing like that and put it in a big planter pot and have her lay her eggs in there.. but if you have a better way i would like to see it. im very nervous about the laying of the eggs. i want to make sure everything works out perfect! pics would really help!!!

HUH! how can they lay eggs without a males? :confused:
 
Hmm maybe that's why my female has been laying in the little dirt I had in the old cage. I took it out and the new cage doesn't have any dirt.
