i am getting a 15 week cham this weekend he will be in a reptarium(24x24x48). is this too big for him?
thanks.......

It might be too big for him. he will have a hard time finding food. And since the cage is so big he will most likely want to wander around all the time. You can try using a smaller plant to keep your cham in that area. For food, try the cup feeding method and place it below his hangout to get him used to eating from that.
Make sure you monitor if he is eating and drinking or not.
Make sure the top of his plant reaches the temp requirements for your specie.

cage size

I put 3 month old nosy be girls in a 100 gallon flex and they loved it. There were no problems catching their food. A month after they moved up to a 260 gallon with no problems catching their food. Now at 5 months old they are bigger than my other females that are about 1 1/2 years old. I'm not saying it's too big, but if u decide to put them in the cage just keep an eye on them and make sure that they are eating properly. Once they are eating with no issues bigger is always better.
