10 gal aquarium

I'm thinking about getting some pygmys and I have a 10 gallon aquarium empty now that I've moved a few of my animals out. I was wondering if an adult male and female would do well in this sized cage. Also will I need to get a basking light? I've read that they can be used but you don't need one. And I'll need a 2.0 uvb bulb right? Also for supplements, I read that you dust 3 times a month with calcium and calcium with d3, can anyone explain their dusting schedule for their adult pygmys. Thanks in advance!

A well planted 10 gallon is fine for 2, maybe even a 1.2 group? You don't need a basking light unless your room temps are really cool. I used a 5.0 bulb, but I know some people use old 5.0s, so mayb a 2.0 is ok. I dusted mine once a week, rotating like this: reptivite, calcium, calcium d3, calcium. There is a lot of pygmy info on this site. They are wonderful to keep!

Thanks! I could buy a whole bunch of pothos and plant them all around the cage. Do you use organic potting soil or is eco earth fine?
