Not a good idea. Stick with the 5.0. 10 would be way to much.

It is important to know how far the bulb will be from your basking spot, if it will go through screen before reaching the cham, if you have hiding spots, how tall is your enclosure, how often you take them to the sun...I don't think you can make a blanket statement -as with most things.

The 5.0 or an Arcadia 6.0 would be perfect if he is in a small-ish enclosure.

Higher UV is OK if they have a bigger enclosure (24 x 24 x 48) and can also GET OUT of it.... and go into plants and shade.
