I lost my job 4 months ago at Disney due to medical issues. I was extremely depressed until one day I walked into a local pet store to grab supplies and laid my eyes on a senegal Cham in bad shape (worse off then me) and I could feel her pain because I knew what it was like to be sick and forgotten. I purchased her and placed her into a glass tank with a mirror behind her substrate on the ground and a water dish...! All I can say is I just knew his was enadaqute. So I found this sight and changed my life and my chameleons. I ended up spending my last few pay checks all on my chammies and not on my piling up med bills. I spent over five hundred dollars on each one of my chams for supplIes for them all because of the knowledge that was provided to me by the wonderful people on this sight.
So the update skittles has her own FR where she can look out the window all day and bask. She hand fed daily. She is so healthy and happy.
Rex my Jackson just got a new XL exo terra cage and is spying on my female Jackson whenever he gets a chance. My female jacks back is getting more twisted but the vet told me to give her the best life possible while she is with me and I'm going to continue praying for her future. Her names miff and she was born with a spinal deformity.
And my little Gizmo my male veiled has also upgraded to a XL enclosure. Everyone is happy
which made me realize that for the first time in forever when I'm with them I don't feel so sick. I think mOre about them then I do myself and it helps me wake up in the morning knowing they need me. But now I know it's me who needs them.
I just wanted to add a few personal thanks to a couple of people who have helped me sooo much. Kinyonga, miss lilly, soild snake, ferretinmyshoes, pssh and veiled chams. Plus many more who added input when I needed it the most!!! To all of you thank you thank you it means the world to me!
