he is not rubbing on anything to try to clean it, not really behaving anyy differently at all, last night i gave him a good mist with warm water but his eye is still closed. I got some pics of both eyes last night too.

he isnt shedding anymore and it is still closed though, that photo was taken yesterday morning, i will try and get another close up photo this evening.
and thankyou for the bulb advice, is that a brand thats available in Australia? I will change it tomorrow as shops are closed now.
this is my first chameleon and his first shed, i have a female also who shed a few days before, though it took her only 1 day and didn't seem to bother her at all.
