Hey, yeah! He does look a bit like Maynard! Though Maynard's head is bigger and different. How old is he? Also an Ambanja?
Thanks for all the compliments, guys :) He just started his first shed today! He's asleep right now so I'll check on him in the morning :O
Hey all,
My name's William! I've been lurking here, learning, observing, and posting occasionally for the past 2 years, and I finally got a chameleon of my own. I recently started grad school in San Diego and the time has come when I can afford and take care of the new friend I've always...
Nwc
Hey, is he one of Rio Bravo's Ambanjas babies? Did you get the last one? I got the second to last one and love him so much! A little less fierce than yours, I heard... :O
Panther Chameleons, Furcifer Pardalis, are the ones known for the most vivid color displays and the widest variety. They are named after many different 'locales' like Ambilobe, Nosy Be, Ambanja and Sambava, with different color schemes generally matching each locale.
You could look a little...
I think most of the animals in the above link are cute! =)
I also agree, almost all chameleons look really cool, one way or another. However, panthers that have lots of splotches of white, red and blue are my least favorite -- I don't wear red in blue in person just because of how bad I think...
Wow, so beautiful! Aren't Sambavas usually more yellow? Do you think he'll ever turn yellow?
I think blue/green chams are the handsomest and yours is no exception, so pretty :)
