My last chameleon passed away. I am taking a break from hobby and selling everything as a package.
Aquazamp mister with 4-5 additional mister heads
Zoomed 24" t5 fixture
2 pieces of grape vine, 1 about 20" the other 42"
Cricket keeper
Left over supplements
2 plastic vines still in bag...
If you want a good private breeder contact trd1215, he is in Florida. Im not sure if he has anything going right now but his chams are very nice and at great prices. My ambilobe panther came from him and it was a pleasure working with him, from reserving my cham to getting pics and shipping...
i know he is wrong, i mean my light fixture over my reef never burns out bulbs either. What im trying to say is im looking for a quality dome fixture, i dont mind spending money. compared to reefs this hobby is cheap.
thanks, mine is ceramic but a cheaper one, max rating 60w. I was looking at the arcadia clamp on lights. wondering if there are better options out there? coming from the reef hobby 20-30 sounds cheap to me for a quality fixture.
im currently running a run of the mill no name heat lamp thing but it keeps blowing bulbs, my friend says it normal i dont agree. I just think its a really cheap fixture. What is something you guys would suggest as a quality heat lamp fixture?
Wondering if anyone has tried single leds or small clusters as a supplement in their setups? mine is barely the 18x18 exoterra but being in the basement i feel the cage needs more light than just the uv and basking. My plant is doing great so i just want something to brighten up the cage...
if no one has said it, wash the plant to make sure you get pesticides off it, and then use organic soil to repot. I also used a layer of rocks on bottom of pot and a layer on top for proper drainage.
im a noob but even i am keeping an umbrella plant without much issues in my panthers enclosure. here is a picture of when i first got it about 3 months ago, today the leaves are reaching the top of the enclosure and plant has filled out more.
which timer do you have? here is the instructions for the one i have which i think is the only one that aquazamp carries?

im using a raindome and love it. I did my research when i first started and i found out you cant go wrong with mistking or raindome. In the end getting a more natural rain over my setup won. The customer service you get from Kevin Zamp is awesome as well.
my panther just started shedding this morning, excited indeed. He has shed 4 times in 10 weeks and every time he gains more color so cant wait to see how he looks after this one.
Im from Chicago, live in Elmwood park which is basically still the city. I have a young panther that lives in my basement. Night temp there is around 65, during the day his basking light brings up the temps in the cage. i was afraid i would have trouble with the cold but i have heard...
i live in chicago too, right now i mist 2 minutes an hour after lights on. 5 minutes middle of day and 2 minutes one hour before lights out. So far it seems to be working good. I have the advantage of having a humidifier hooked up to my furnace and my cham is in basement. Humidity in cage...
you can check out some of the petstores, i just bought a bunch of "small" size crickets and about half are at the .25" If you are interested i believe oak park natural pet and fish can order you in any size you need in a 1000 count box.

Im a mechanic by trade, i can keep whatever vehicles you guys come up with running. Im also mexican so i can make one hell of a guacamole and pico de gallo!
just wanted to update this thread, i decided to go with a raindome system from aquazamp. After thinking it over it was the easiest thing for me to do.
