So kamilly seems to be doin better now that we've made corrections to his enclosure and his supplement intake he starting to move around more in the day and keep his eyes open more also I think he may have been a little impacted but thinking he finally passed the fake moss he ate 2 weeks ago...
So I have 3 cats that show zero intrest in my chameleon right now he's in a glass with screen top enclosure I want to combine to two reptibreeze xl for him to have more space but am wondering if the screen enclosure is strong enough for a cat to climb on top of with out falling through it's...
Is it possible that this is just how he likes to spend his day 🤔 jw I am new to chameleons this is my first one I've been reading and learning as much as I can tho
1 he's a male vieled chameleon don't know age aprox 5 months os guess from other posts on this forum
2 I've had to handle him enough to wake him up so he'd start hunting to eat otherwise he'd sit there with his eyes closed all day and not even know there was food around
3 I do about 10 tp 15...
I only got him 3 weeks ago been feeding pretty well except two days since I got him been doin gut loaded crickets and gave him a horn worm this morn as a treat he does hunt still hunt until full and here's a few more pictures I know enclosure ia small it 18x18 x24 in process of making a larger one
So my approximately 5 month old male vieled seems to be fine when I interact with him or feed him he will hunt for crickets eats hornworms out of my hand but will pretty much sit like this in his basking spot all day if left alone kinda turns a brownish gray color as well but he seems to be doin...
The light is 3 inches above mesh with his highest branch about 4 to 5 inches below that he's been pooping every few days and it looks fine so I don't know impaction would be the case and I don't even know if I have a reptile vet around me gotta look into that
So I redid his tank a little bit and cleaned it out yesterday waiting on single dome light and hanger to get delivered tomorrow but I attached a picture of what he's been doin for like 2 days my fiance was able to feed him 3 calcium dusted crickets yesterday b7t thats all he did but today he...
OK well I adjusted the uvb to about 3 inches above and nothing blocking it now I do have the heat bulb directly on cage rn (will change as soon as I get a single dome light for heat and the hangar) but it doesn't get to hot for him like that. That's how I had it before
Okay yes I do have the linear uvb I'll post that picture was from other day before I got it I had the compact originally but changed it I'll post pic of lights on here and gonna upgrade to bigger tank asap just got him last Tuesday and this is what pet store told me I needed they were way wrong...
So my vieled chameleon possibly 5 months old I e had for a week now has started to close his eyes and looks to be sleeping all day unless I open the enclosure.. he doesn't move much either not sure why he did swallow some fake moss I had in his enclosure a few days ago maybe that's why otherwise...
As far as I know male he has bumps on back of his feet and someone on here said about 5 months I don't really know neither does the pet store I got him from.
