    My Guy is in Trouble

My fingers are crossed for your little guy 🤞🏻. Idk where you’re located so I know everywhere is different. When I sent labs out for my chameleon and snake it was about $250. I did pay for the most expensive panel as well. I am located in SE TN. Some chameleons just don’t like some bugs. Like...

    Fruit for hydration

Adding a fogging routine to his bedtime schedule will do him wonders as well. Hornworms are a good source of moisture as well. I will attach some of Chameleon academy’s hydration YouTube clips. I hope these help 😊

I would take him to the vet get labs and a fecal done.

    Rio has a Roommate

🤣 I give myself anxiety with just 1 chameleon let alone 2. And even if chameleons lived in perfect harmony together, Rio is the equivalent of Oscar the grouch. He’s like the old man that doesn’t want to be bothered

    Rio has a Roommate

Yea I’m not gonna be shocked at all if something like that happens. I just lined his outdoor enclosure with screen so his visits with them will be less frequent. And that one wasn’t a baby it’s body was about the size of my pinky: I check Rios doo doo once a month for parasites. With ether...

    Rio has a Roommate

Since moving outside for the warm season Rio has acquired a roommate. His roommate comes and goes but is always home for bedtime

Yea I am just looking for where to get all of these feeders from. I cannot find them for sale in stock anywhere. I can find crickets, silk worms, horn worms, Dubai’s, super worms. But I want the variety (banana roaches, stick bugs, katydids) I’m having a hard time finding the different things.

I am looking for more places where I can buy bugs (aside from crickets, buy locally for those) - grasshoppers I have been talking to Khai, and I use dean. Looking for alternatives for: - Katydids - Stick Bugs - green banana roaches - advice on anything new to feed my boy. He doesn’t like...

    Rios first day outside

I found this on the breeder website where I got Rio from. I have a crap ton of honey suckle that grows wild free and rampant around my house. I know i read some there the berries on them aren’t safe but the leaves and flowers are.

    Rios first day outside

I will have them replaced tomorrow. I never knew morning glories to be toxic I’ve had them planted around the house for years and never had issues with my animals with them. I’ll find another flowering vine.

    Rios first day outside

Today is Rios first day in his outdoor enclosure for the rest of the warm season. He has hanging plants, a fern, morning glory vines, and a hisbiscus bush because there were issues with the tree. Currently he is in his fern. It’ll be raining for the next week and a half so it’s fixing to be...

    Photo dump of Rio

Do you think he looks thin? Because that boy eats all the time, but I cannot tell if he looks thin or if that’s normal anatomy of a chameleon. He definitely doesn’t lack in the food department. He free feeds because I heard on chameleon academy podcast to free feed them until they’re 120g then...

    Photo dump of Rio

Rio is just a man of mystery. He’s bashful, and mostly repulsed by my existence. But that’s okay, he’s still cute. These are from the beginning up til present day.

    The Mysteries of Rio

Ideally the temps here in TN are gonna stop dropping below 60 degrees at night and he’s gonna stay out there til the warm season ends. But the temps haven’t situated themselves yet. Friday I will post pics of his Indoor vs outdoor enclosure. His hibiscus tree won’t be here for awhile because...

    The Mysteries of Rio

No. He has 2 cages. His indoor cage is a dragon strand hybrid cage. His outdoor cage is a bird cage. Both the same dimensions. The bird cage is a screen enclosure. But that never bothered him before he would roam and hunt all day in that thing. His plants filled in more but that’s all.

    The Mysteries of Rio

So Rios outdoor enclosure is all but set up, I am waiting on his hibiscus tree. When weather permits he goes outside in his outdoor enclosure. But I’ve noticed in March when i was like 80 degrees I put him outside same plants and he would roam all over the enclosure. It’s April when it’s...
