Yes for some reason she likes being handled a lot everytime i come home and she sees my she starts coming up to the front of the cage waiting for me to open it then she starts changing her color, and also when she’s sleeping
https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/chameleon-color-question.189575/ this is what you said when I asked about the colors before, and I have the linear uvb t5 5.0 light but it came with no like reflector attachment thing so that’ll be coming in tomorrow
I was thinking that I’ve had her for exactly a week now and since that week I put her to sleep at 6 pm and wake her up at 6 am since I have school and have no other choice but this weekend I had to change the time up a little bit so yesterday (Friday) I put her to sleep at 6:30 PM and woke her...
Is that fresh or would it always look like that because I have never seen my chameleon poop and I doubt I ever would so does it look diff when it’s dried up?
What is a common price for a normal check up on a chameleon from a chameleon specialist at an animal hospital? Because I’ve called my nearest animal hospital and they said $156 which is real crazy to me
How come when I see pictures of other orange poop I looked up they don’t really look alike at all there’s no other part of the poop it’s just the urine
So I’ve had my chameleon since Saturday this week and I’ve fed him like 3 times since I’ve got him and I haven’t noticed poop maybe once but something I did notice was this orange looking poop thing that I’ve had to clean up twice idk if it’s poop or not that’s why I need help identifying what it is
So you don’t suggest feeding mealworms like once a week? Like as a treat type of thing? The worker from pet smart said to not feed it occasionally cuz the chameleon may want to only eat that so use it as a treat / snack
I went to pet smart and bought a 50 count of meal worms and I was told to keep them refrigerated but they don’t move so how do I get them to move so that my chameleon will be able to eat them?
Thank you for all your help, can’t believe I got a female by accident haha whole time I thought it was a male. But you mentioned before “receptive female panther” so which one is it a panther or a veiled? Because when I first got her she was in a cage with many other veileds
Oh wow that’s a big difference, the thing that was really bad that I did was I bought the chameleon without having much knowledge at all which was a big mistake because i then also wasted my money on that “chameleon kit” when instead I could have bought a way bigger enclosure for a better price...
Okay so these are the best photos I was able to get right now, i don’t know if your able to tell from these but those are the best I could get for right now since he is asleep and I don’t want to wake him.
