Washed playsand. Got it. When I set up her bin I'm going to watch a bunch of videos in how to properly do it as well, but I'm wondering, should I put anything on top of the bin? Like if I wanted to have a decent sized centerpiece in the middle of her enclosure to act as a tree of sorts? Or...
Alright, thanks. So, like you said, reducing her feeds and also reducing the temperatures of her enclosure will help with that? Also, when it comes to soil for the laybin, should I be looking for a specific type? Or just any soil with no pesticides or rocks
She had around 25 eggs in her last clutch, however the previous owners didn't know she needed a laybin, so they just ended up all over the enclosure and she wasn't able to dig up anywhere :(
Thank you so much, really. That was super useful info. I'm looking forward to getting the proper supplies my Delores needs so that she can live her best life ❤️
Oh right, so, when I asked she said that she laidabout 25 eggs when they had her about two months ago. Keep in mind, they also only had her for two months, as THEY had also inherited her from someone. Except they didn't do any research about chameleon care. Anyways, she had about 25 eggs, and...
Absolutely. All this plus what others have said have already been taken into consideration and I'm already on top of things to get all this stuff for her. Im setting up a temporary lay bin for her small enclosure today after work, as well as getting new feeders and supplements. And I'm going to...
Alright, thanks for the tips. Just in case she may just be overweight, do you think I should cut back on her diet? I'm trying very hard to learn from everyone on here, as well as doing my own research, so every bit of advice helps <3
I've had my veiled chameleon Delores for a few days now, and I got her from my neighbors who I noticed werent taking well care of her. I know she has layed at least one clutch of eggs before, and it was about two months ago. I dont know how much her previous owners were feeding her, but Ive been...
I can't thank you all enough. In the meantime though, should I make a makeshift kinda of small-ish laying bin for het enclosure now until I can get the larger one? If so, would a box with 9.5inx7.5inx11in be decent enough? I know it's much smaller than the minimum recommendation, but...
Thanks. Ive definitely head of dragon strand, and im very interested but sadly thats a bit out of my price range for now. But about that reptibreeze one you mentioned, is this what you're talking about?

Thank you all so much for the advice and support! It really means so much. I just finished watching a video on setting up a laying bin, heres the link:
After watching this video, I absolutely know now that my enclosure is far too small for her. Do you have any good 2x2x4 enclosure...
Thanks for the reply. Neptune the chameleon has so far definitely been one of my favorite channels to watch for tips and advice. I also watch a lot of Reptilian Garden too, as I find her content very helpful. My other favorite channel to watch is GoHerping, although his content isnt really...
Thanks so much for the advice :) I will absolutely put a laying bin in her enclosure now that you mention it; I did not know that was a thing I should do. Ill do more research on that tonight, but do you have any general tips about that? Also, i'm def not an expert or anything, but she looks...
Also, here are some pictures of the chameleon and her enclosure, as well as the calcium supplements I use for her. Thanks everyone for the responses ❤️
