Now that I’m thinking about it Yes he probably did see them They were close to his enclosure and the crickets enclosure is clear.

We were keeping the crickets next to his enclosure and as I said they were noisy But I moved them away from his cage to see if maybe their noise was the issue and he hasn’t spotted up real dark since then But I’m not sure if that’s the main cause
