seems like all the packages for chams have the cage included. problem is i am building my own cage but could still use the supplies. Love the starup kits but dont need the cage. Are there any kits out there that don't include a cage? or will the retailers sell the kit without the cage. hate to...

recently went to the home depot and got the wood and screening to start my cage. just wondering if i could paint the wood after it is built or could that somehow harm the cham?
