Sorry, I forgot to include that I keep her around 70-85, since I live in a hot climate the temp tends to change. I try to keep the humidity at least 50% during the day, and 75%+ at night.
Thank you for this information!! I don’t know much about how the females are different than males!! She doesn’t have a laying box. What kind of “box” does she need? Does it need substrate, if so, what kind would be appropriate? I judge temp/humidity w a little thermometer on the side. How much...
I recently rescued a female veiled cham, & she has a few things I’ve never seen before. I’ve had a male veiled for 2 years, and he’s doing well. With the female, she goes dark but isn’t one full color. She usually has green spots & I don’t often see her fully neon. She gets green when she sleeps...
What should I use to close it off? Cardboard? If I close multiple sides, do I just remove the cover of one side if the temp gets too high? Also, is it in my best interest to make a hybrid enclosure rather than full screen?
Screen. I cannot change my room temperature to anything warmer. I can move him to a warmer spot in the room. I do have a closet; I haven’t relocated him into the closet bc I’m worried about the air flow
I have his basking branch up a little higher since the room during the day is always so cold. Daytime temps have an average of like 60-64. Nighttime drops below 60.
My room has a temperature of 60 degrees and even lower at night. I have a 1yol veiled chameleon and I’m worried he’s not staying warm enough. I can’t move him to another room or turn my ac off/set it higher. His enclosure is a pretty small screen enclosure (temporary). I already use a 75watt...
I have around a year old vieled, his name is Rango. Can't hurt to ask for tips.

Her enclosure right now is pretty small, but so is she. She does have a 2x2x5' enclosure for when shes bigger. She has golden pothos plants and a corn plant, the rest are fake. She has real sticks in her enclosure but I sterilized them and my male vieled seems to have no problems. Pls help
So I bought a 7 month old female jackson from a breeder in Florida. She's had problems shooting her tongue ever since she showed up home. Breeder said he had no knowledge of it.
Around a week ago, or about 6 days, she was eating well and drinking. She was basking well and hiding, seeming to be...
